Omega League – the Ideas behind the Contest

The Omega League is a 72 team contest, designed to allow participants compete against a bigger field and win larger cash prizes.  The field of 72 is broken into six leagues of 12 teams.  Each league will draft simultaneously to initially assemble the rosters.

League play is head to head for 11 weeks, with each owner facing each other owner in the league once.  The top four teams based on record, with total points as the tie-breaker, advance to the Championship Bracket. 

The Championship Bracket will decide the overall winner from the 24 remaining teams.  The teams are seeded based on total points scored from weeks 1 through 11.  The top eight seeds receive byes and thus are guaranteed to finish in the money.  Bracket play is head to head until the Championship is decided in week 16.
