Entry

To enter one or multiple Phenoms Fantasy Football League(s), you must complete the registration form available here: https://www.phenomsff.com/signup.php.   Individuals are limited to one entry per unique contest.  Individuals may enter multiple contests.  All entries must be paid prior to the draft or auction date of each contest.

 

Eligibility

Participants must be of legal age in their respective jurisdiction.  Phenoms Fantasy Football Leagues are open to legal residents of the United States and Canada, including the District of Columbia, excluding Quebec, Puerto Rico, and the following states: Arizona, Arkansas, Iowa, Louisiana, Montana, North Dakota, and Vermont.  Void where prohibited by law.  Owners, employees, and immediate family members of Phenom Enterprises are not eligible to participate.

 

Game of Skill

Phenoms Fantasy Football Leagues are contests of skill.  Winners are determined by the objective criteria listed below and on the League Rules webpage.  From all entries received, winners are determined by the individuals who use their skill and knowledge of relevant professional football information and fantasy football rules to accumulate the highest point totals during the contest according the contest rules. 

 

Contest Term

Each contest begins with the draft or auction for that contest.  Dates and times of drafts and auctions for each contest are listed on the Schedule webpage.  For all contests, point accumulation begins on September 6, 2007 and ends on December 24^, 2007, spanning weeks 1 through 16 of the pro football regular season.  In the event the pro football schedule is altered, the term of the contest may be altered at the discretion of Phenom Enterprises.

 

Prizes

At the conclusion of each contest, prizes are awarded to the top teams in each league as follows:

Cash Prizes are awarded in U.S. Dollars. In the event of a tie, prizes are divided evenly among those who have tied. No substitution or transfer prize is permitted.

Please allow 6-8 weeks from the conclusion of the Contest to receive your prize. If you are required to sign an affidavit of eligibility and liability release, please allow 6-8 weeks from the time your signed affidavit and release is returned. All prizes are awarded regardless of the number of entrants or amount of entry fees received.

All taxes associated with the receipt or uses of any prize are the sole responsibility of the winner. A 30% U.S. income tax withholding will be applied to all non-U.S. prizewinners. In the event that any legal authority challenges the awarding of any prizes to winners of the Phenoms Fantasy Football Leagues, Phenom Enterprises reserves the right in its sole discretion to determine whether or not to award such prizes.

 

Notification

All winners will be notified via e-mail or regular mail within 30 days after the conclusion of the contests.  Winners are also posted on the Phenom Fantasy Football website.  Winners are required to sign and return an affidavit of eligibility and a publicity/liability release (unless prohibited by law) within fifteen (15) days following attempted notification. Failure to comply with this requirement may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner. Any prize notification returned as undeliverable may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner. Using the contact information the participant has provided, Phenom Enterprises will attempt to contact overall winners via phone and/or e-mail in order to fulfill prizes at least three (3) times or for a period of thirty (30) days. If the winner is unable to be reached, this may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner. If a league winner fails to submit his or her current mailing address, Phenom Enterprises reserves the right to send his or her prize to the last known address on record. Phenom Enterprises is only obligated to contact a single alternate. In all instances in which Phenom Enterprises notifies, or seeks to deliver a prize to or otherwise attempts to contact an alternate winner, if such alternate winner is unavailable or disqualified or if the prize is returned as undeliverable, within the time frames otherwise allotted for the initially selected winner, then Phenom Enterprises may choose either not to award the prize or to donate it to another person or entity, in its sole discretion.

 

By accepting any prize, the winners grant permission to Phenom Enterprises to use their names and/or likenesses for publicity and promotional purposes without further compensation, unless prohibited by law, and agree to execute a written consent. In the event of dispute about the identity of any entrant, entries made online are declared made by the authorized account holder of the email address submitted at time of entry. "Authorized account holder" is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an email address by an Internet access provider, online service provider or other organization that is responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted email address. A potential winner can be required to provide the sponsors with proof that the potential winner is the authorized account holder of the email address associated with the winning entry.

 

Internet/Technology Problems
If, for any reason, a Contest is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of Phenom Enterprises which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Contest, Phenom Enterprises reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Contest. Phenom Enterprises assumes no responsibility for any error, omissions, interruption, deletion, defect or delay in operation with transmission, communications, line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to or allegation of entries. Phenom Enterprises is not responsible for any problem or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers, equipment or software, failure of any email or entry to be received on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any web site, phone lines, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to a participant's computer related to or resulting from participation in this Contest.

 

CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY A PARTICIPANT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEB SITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE CONTEST IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, CDM FANTASY SPORTS RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

 

General Disclaimers

Phenom Enterprises is not responsible for any late, lost, garbled, misdirected, incomplete, or damaged entries; any Contest disruptions, injuries, losses or damages caused by events beyond the control Phenom Enterprises or any printing or typographical errors in any materials associated with the Contest. Phenom Enterprises or any subsidiary or affiliated company of any of the foregoing, are not in any way responsible or liable for any damage, loss or injury (including death) resulting from participation in the Contest and/or acceptance and use of any prize won. Phenom Enterprises is solely responsible for enacting, administering, enforcing the rules, and maintaining the integrity of the Contest. The Contest and web site are not sponsored or endorsed by the National Football League.

 

Phenom Enterprises, in its sole discretion, may disqualify any entrant from participating in the contest, refuse to award points or prizes, and require the return of any prizes, if entrant engages in any conduct Phenom Enterprises deems to be improper, unfair or otherwise adverse to the operation of the contest or detrimental to other entrants. Such improper conduct includes, but is not limited to, falsifying personal information required during contest registration or prize claim, violating any term or condition stated herein, accumulating points or prizes through methods such as automated computer scripts or other programming techniques, allowing others to use the entrant's personal information for the purpose of accumulating points or prizes, tampering with Phenom Enterprises’ administration of this contest, or intentionally trying to defraud, reverse engineer, disassemble, decompile or otherwise tamper with the computer programs on the contest website. Entrant further acknowledges that the forfeiture of prize(s) and/or return of any prize(s) shall in no way prevent Phenom Enterprises from pursuing other avenues of recourse such as criminal or civil proceedings in connection with such conduct.

 

Release
By participating in the Contest, you release and agree to hold harmless Phenom Enterprises, its sponsors, parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, employees and agencies from any liability whatsoever for any claims, costs, injuries, losses, or damages of any kind arising out of or in connection with the Contest or acceptance, possession, or use of any prize (including, without limitation, claims, costs, injuries and losses related to personal injuries, death, damage to or destruction of property, rights of publicity or privacy, defamation or portrayal in a false light, whether intentional or unintentional), whether under a theory of contract, tort (including negligence), warranty or other theory.

 

Official Rules
The Contest is subject to all United States laws, and to the Contest official rules, and cannot be used in connection with any form of gambling. By entering the Contest, you agree to abide by the terms of the official rules and by the decisions of Phenom Enterprises, which are final on all matters pertaining to the Contest. Phenom Enterprises reserves the right to change the official rules at any time, in its sole discretion.
